Executive Director, AEAC
Juliette Kenny serves as the Executive Director of the America East Academic Consortium (AEAC) for the America East Conference. As Executive Director, Kenny is responsible for the overall administration of the AEAC, overseeing its finances, communications strategy, and program development and implementation efforts. Her work involves regular engagement with the America East Board of Presidents and Council of Provosts regarding matters of governance and strategic planning.
Before joining the America East Conference, Kenny spent time at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the role of Associate Director of Academic and Membership Affairs. During her tenure in Indianapolis, Kenny served as a key member of the NCAA’s academic policy team, working with NCAA staff and university leaders to adopt and review academic legislation. At national conferences and on college campuses, Kenny spoke widely on topics such as initial and continuing academic eligibility, academic reform, and regulatory compliance.
Prior to her time at the NCAA, Kenny served as the Director of Compliance for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education at Columbia University. In this capacity, she performed all rules compliance functions specific to intercollegiate athletics and assisted with the planning and administration of student-athlete leadership development activities.
Kenny has also held appointments at Iona College and Villanova University. Kenny holds an Ed.M. in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and an M.S. in Sports Management from Columbia University. She earned her B.B.A from Villanova University, where she was a four-year member of the women’s cross-country and track and field programs.
