Among other things, the America East Academic Consortium (AEAC) is a mechanism for inter-institutional discussion, information sharing, and problem solving. The Communities of Practice program provides support for individuals to collaborate with colleagues across the America East Conference. Individuals with an interest in getting together with like-mind peers to exchange ideas and best practices are welcome and encouraged to form or join a “community of practice.” Such communities may reflect a shared interest in an academic or administrative area.
